Coleman Hawkins is pleased to announce Kansas Children’s Service League as our charity recipient for the 2008 and 2009 Festivals. All proceeds from charity collections at the 2008 and 2009 Festivals will be donated to KCSL, Inc. The last two years, Marian Clinic received over twelve thousand dollars in total charity collections, and we anticipate that the upcoming crowds will donate generously to KCSL. This outstanding organization provides essential services to children in need in Shawnee County and throughout the State of Kansas.

Charitable giving for medical and for children’s services is an essential mission of the Coleman Hawkins Legacy Jazz Festival Organization, and KCSL fits perfectly with our mission.
